Advisor Portal overview

What you can do as a school advisor, and what's coming next.

Updated 2026-06-09 · For: Advisor

The Advisor Portal at /advisor is your workspace at Continental Studios. You see only the schools you've been assigned to. Studio staff can never see less than you can, but the inverse is also true: we cannot edit your school's rosters on your behalf.

Sections

  • Dashboard — snapshot of your assigned schools and upcoming portrait days.
  • Students — per-portrait-day rosters. Track who got photographed.
  • Appointments — book, move, or cancel time slots on behalf of families. Every action is logged in a team-visible activity feed on that sign-up.
  • Calendar — calendar view of every portrait day.
  • Reports — attendance and capture-rate breakdowns.
  • Notifications — bulk SMS or email to families.
  • Settings — your profile and notification preferences.

Every /advisor page shows a ← Back to site control (and a clickable "Continental Studios" wordmark) in the shell chrome — use either to return to the public site at any time.

How you get access

Continental Studios sends you an email with a link ending in/auth?invite=…. Sign in (or create your account) with the address the invite was sent to — the server validates the token and auto-provisions your advisor role plus your school assignment, then drops you straight into the portal. No school-picker, no onboarding form. If you already had an account, just sign in from the invite link; the token is remembered across the round-trip.

Session notifications

When you sign in, the studio gets a one-time login notice. When you sign out — or after roughly 3 hours of inactivity — the studio gets a single session digest summarizing what you did (counts of bookings, moves, and cancellations, plus the schools touched). Individual booking actions no longer generate per-action studio email. No participant names or contact information are included in these studio-facing notices.

Greyed-out sections are coming in a future phase. If you need that feature sooner, let your Continental Studios contact know.
