Notifications

The bell in the top-right of the Advisor Portal shows an unread count of alerts scoped to your assigned schools. Clicking it opens /advisor/notifications — a chronological list you can mark read individually or all at once.

What triggers a notification

• Portrait day reminder — created ~24 hours before each of your schools' portrait days.
• Roster follow-up — after a portrait day ends (with a short buffer), if any roster entries are still marked pending or absent.
• Schedule change — when a studio admin opens, closes, or reschedules a sign-up or portrait day on one of your schools.

Email delivery

In-portal alerts are always on. Email delivery is opt-in per type in /advisor/settings. Emails come from reservations@continentalstudios.com and are best-effort — a delivery failure never blocks the in-portal alert.
