Partnership

A photography program built for advisors.

We handle the schedule, the data, the retouching, and the deadline pressure — so you can focus on the yearbook, the season, and the students.

Your OFFICIAL School Photographers.

Timeless Portraits. Professional Support. Real Follow-Through.

Built around your calendar

Flexible scheduling planned around what works best for the school. Scheduling can be done by us or done by you.

Yearbook-ready data flow

PSPA-compliant index files, and proof sets delivered in the native format your publisher expects.

One studio, one team

Your photographer is on-staff at Continental. Easily accessible and experienced local New York studio with direct contacts.  We are specialists in school photography.

The retake that actually happens

Retake day can be built into your program. We can come back to photograph absentees.

In-house lab

Digital processing, retouching, and printing all happen at our Forest Hills lab. Nothing leaves the building; nothing waits in a vendor queue.

Custom school reports

Reports of students who have been photographed and who have not are available upon request.

Academic-year timeline

August to June, planned in writing.

A typical high school or college photography program runs the full academic year. Photo day dates and final delivery dates are confirmed at the August consultation and never move without your sign-off. Book Early!

  1. 01Aug – Sep

    Pre-season consultation

We meet (school or our studio), confirm class size, set picture day and retake day, and lock in the publisher deliverable format.

  2. 02Sep – Oct

    Picture day

Full crew, backdrops, and lighting. Undergrads, faculty, and seniors photographed against the bell schedule. SIS file verified before we leave.

  3. 03Oct – Nov

    Proofs online

Families receive proof links through mypersonalphotos.net. Advisors get the dashboard view: who's photographed, who hasn't, current proof set.

  4. 04Nov – Dec

    Retake day

Absentees and re-shoots on the date set in August. No surprise scheduling, no extra invoice.

  5. 05Jan – Mar

    Publisher submission

PSPA-formatted index and image archive delivered to your publisher on or before their deadline. Senior portraits submitted in the pose and format your book requires.

  6. 06Apr – Jun

    Prom, awards, graduation

Event coverage — formal portrait station plus candid second photographer. Same-week proofs, prints in time for early-summer family gatherings.

Publisher deliverables

We submit to the publisher you already use.

  • All major yearbook publishers
  • Other PSPA-compliant publishers

Don't see your publisher? If they accept the PSPA spec, we deliver to them. Ask at the consultation.
